The kish office project, a seven-story building with outstanding architecture for establishing a holding complex, entered the Persian Garden studio from the interior design phase. One of the main design points of the existing interior space was the central skylight and the open space around that. This skylight, with a significant area compared to the area of each floor as a source of energy and light, in addition to maintaining the visual connection between floors, had the most significant potential to become a source of dialogue between users on the first floor. This spatial feature as the central axis of the interior design provided the basis for forming office spaces around this central space.
Due to the design angles of the facade and windows on the northern side, the north space included a controlled amount and direction of natural light during the day. So it has been dedicated to open office space on the floors. The southern part, according to the different needs of users on each floor, includes the reception area, management rooms, and conference rooms. The relationship between the interior design and the existing architecture, as well as preserving and valuing the identity, were important points of this project. So elements such as brick and its presence and impact in the interior space were the main challenges of creating harmony in the combination of texture, color, and material. Also, numerous angles in architectural forms and their reflection in interior spaces demanded a different approach to design. It was possible to create balance and harmony by using neutral colors, regular shapes, and visual order in the arrangement.
After reaching the ideal and suitable arrangement according to the user’s needs, the office furniture was designed and built according to the procedure of the Persian Garden studio, which is unique to this project. Elements such as the iron connections of the tables to the floor and ceiling and the continuous light lines in the movement path of the project, plus the repetition and coherence of furniture forms on all floors, made the coherent space in seven floors, which while paying attention to details And the different needs of users on each floor convey spatial integrity.
The entrance space on the ground floor, the first space facing this complex, is designed with surprising elements and different lighting. The use of natural stone and wood, the roots of coastal trees, and mirrors, glass, and iron create the contrast created with exaggerated darkness and light in this space to create a unique environment.
The commercial space on the ground floor, designed for an airline agency, differs from other office spaces in this complex. So While maintaining the main design idea of the whole project, an area has been formed in the continuation of the reception space on the ground floor, with neutral colors, integrated light volumes, and highly reflective materials to create variety.
In the end, the main goal of the interior design of this project, which was to achieve an integrated plan because of the complexity and different needs of the users of each floor, was performed by respecting the architectural identity of the existing building and creating harmony. The central space of the building on the first floor became the place of communication and gathering of users, and the movement routes and stopping points were formed throughout the project.
